Ferrari-Hardoy, Jorge

(1914 - 1977)

Jorge Ferrari-Hardoy was an Argentine architect and designer. He received his degree in architecture from the Universidad de Buenos Aires in 1939. During his studies he spent time in Paris, where he worked with Le Corbusier on his never-realized urban plans for Buenos Aires. When he returned home, he was a part of the creation of CIAM Argentina.

Together with Antonio Bonet Castellana and Juan Kurchan he worked in the Austral Group, Buenos Aires. They designed the iconic B.K.F. Chair.
