1950s

A French modernist sideboard in oak, strongly reminiscent of the work of Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand. The sideboard has two beautifully curved sliding doors. Inside are three shelves and a drawer.
The sliding system and the way the wood is bent show the hand of a highly skilled cabinet maker.
The sideboard has some pencil markings underneath, with what seems to be the year of production, 1952.
