A model 71-126 flush mount ceiling lamp by Yki Nummi for Orno. The lamp has a cone shaped opaline glass diffuser with a brass ceiling mount and a brass diffuser underneath. Marked by Orno. We have three of these lamps available.

'People don't buy lamps, they buy light' is a famous quote by Ykki Nummi. He was a  lighting designer for the Finnish Stockmann-Orno luminaire factory from 1950 to 1975. He was very productive and designed hundreds of light fixtures, the Lokki pendant lamp, also known as “The Flying Saucer” is one of his best known designs.

Bloomberry is an antiques dealer specialized in exquisite twentieth century design, founded in 2005 by Patricia Keurentjes and Leander Meerman. Our strength is that we read the past differently and do have a keen eye for yet little known masterpieces. Our company is housed in a former textile factory that spans 5.000 square meters. It is located just near Maastricht, in the south of the Netherlands, within two hours from Amsterdam, Bruxelles and Cologne. Only part of the collection is shown on the website.
