Rare Angelo Mangiarotti Studio Desk, Italy, 1960s

Mangiarotti, Angelo

A very rare Angelo Mangiarotti wooden studio desk. The top of this wonderful and functional desk rests on a trestle and a storage unit with three drawers. This desk was designed by Mangiarotti for and used in his Via Cappuccio studio in Milan, where he worked in the period of 1962-1988. This piece is part of a collection that was bought directly from the Mangiarotti studio.

The numerous pinhole marks in the table top makes you think which of all the amazing works of Mangiarotti have been drawn out on this specific desk.
