Set of Four Rare Toad Stools by Nana Ditzel, Denmark, 1960s

Ditzel, Nanna

Nana Ditzel designed the toad stool in 1962 for Kold’s Saavaerk, Kerteminde.
The stools are inspired by the idea that children never sit still for two minutes, they get up, stand on the chair and subsequently it tips over. This observation became the Children’s Toadstool, which can be turned and stacked. With this patina they also are wonderful objects.

Also available as a pair.
