A Reino Ruokolainen armchair made of stained beech with brown fabric fixed cushions. The chair has a very interesting jointed construction. The model Tupa ('cottage') chair was designed around 1960 for Haimi, Helsinki. The chair is in a very good condition, but the foam needs to be replaced.

This piece is old stock from the Italian Finn Form collection and is never used. This collection was curated by Italian designer Letterio (Lillo) Mangano (1921 – 2002). The collection was started in 1958 and consisted of works by Finnish designers like Alvar Aalto, Tapio Wirkkala and Timo Sarpaneva.

It is located just near Maastricht, in the south of the Netherlands, within two hours from Amsterdam, Bruxelles and Cologne. Only part of the collection is shown on the website.
