A sculptural, organically shaped chair with matching ottoman in redwood root by American artist Daryl Stokes. The measurements stated are of the chair. The ottoman is 95 by 55 cm (37" by 21.5") and 28 cm (11") high. Stokes is a California based sculptor, who started making sculptures and furniture from redwood driftwood and burls in the early 1970s. Because he works with recovered wood, no trees have to be cut for his pieces.
