A large ceramic vase by German ceramist Willi Hornberger (1932 - 1995).

The vase has a black crystaline glaze finish and was treated with the Kintsugi technique. With this treatment, also known as the Japanese repair, a broken vase is fixed with gold lacquer. This way the repair is treated as an addition to the histor of the object.

Signed by Hornberger and in a wonderful condition.
