A rare floor  or large table lamp by Italian architect and designer Luigi Caccia Dominioni (1913 - 2016). This model 'Lte 5' or 'Mikado' lamp was designed in 1963. The lamp stands on a marble base and has a bent nickel plated brass stem with a height-adjustable frosted glass diffuser with a black enameled aluminum hood.

The lamp is ideal to be placed on a side table to be used as a reading lamp. By adjusting the hood, the direction of the light can be altered.
