A globe shaped aluminum pendant lamp by Kristian Gullichsen. The lamp hangs from four thin metal wires, connected to brass screws. By adjusting the wires, the direction of the light can be changed. The drop can be adjusted to your requirements, but is circa 130 cm as pictured.

This is a prototype for the lamp that was produced by Valaistustyo in 1966.

Kristian Gullichsen (1932) is a Finnish architect who started his career at the office of Alvar Aalto, before starting his own firm.

Our strength is that we read the past differently and do have a keen eye for yet little known masterpieces. Our company is housed in a former textile factory that spans 5.000 square meters. It is located just near Maastricht, in the south of the Netherlands, within two hours from Amsterdam, Bruxelles and Cologne. Only part of the collection is shown on the website.
