(1906 - 1978)

Carlo Scarpa was an Italian architect and designer. He graduated from the Accademia in Venice, with the title of Professor of Architecture and he apprenticed with the architect Francesco Rinaldo. Most of his work was built in the Veneto, but also in the rest of Italy and other countries. His most famous design was probably the Brion Cemetery in Altivole.
