Parisi, Ico

(1916 - 1996)

Italian architect and designer Domenico “Ico” Parisi was one of the most renowned figures of post-war Italian Modernism. Parisi studied architecture from 1931 to 1935 and after this he worked in the office of famed Rationalist architect Giuseppe Terragni. In the late 1930s Parisi also worked as a filmmaker. After the War he started his own studio, with his wife Luisa.
